Safeguarding
Here at Anthos Arts, we work with a wide variety of children and young people across a number of projects throughout the year. We aim to create a safe, supportive atmosphere for all who take part in our work. As such, safeguarding is at the heart of our practice. Our lead facilitators hold relevant Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificates, in addition to valid Paediatric First Aid qualifications. Information about our team is made available to parents on our website (see 'Meet the Team).
It is our firm belief that children who work with us should be and feel safe at all times, be this inside the workroom or out. We promote kindness and respect at all ages in a manner appropriate to each specific group.
If anyone has any safeguarding concerns, please get in contact with Jake Celecia, who is the certified Safeguarding Officer for Anthos Arts Youth groups, at jake.anthos-arts@outlook.com.
Alternatively, contact Ben Goulding, our Artistic Director, at ben.anthos-arts@outlook.com.
If you would like to discuss any concerns in person, please let us know. We will honour the discretion of safeguarding enquiries.
